What Happens Next?

Should I contact you?

You are more than welcome to give us a ring or drop us an email, though you don't need to. We will be teaching at the locations and times listed here so you can just turn up.

When is a good time to start?

Now! Don't procrastinate or you'll always find an excuse.
That said, the focus of a class can change depending on how close we are to a grading. You'll find our 'beginners weeks' (the week following a grading) are the most relaxed and the time you'll get the most help.

What should I wear?

Some loose fitting clothing, such as tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt. Bare feet.
Once you've been training for a few weeks and decide it's for you, you'll need a 'Gi'. These cost around £25.

Am I too old? Am I too young?

We suggest that once children have completed their first term of school, they are old enough to begin learning karate.
Whilst you are mobile, you are never too old.
